Cover art, cover art, cover art!!!

I have been sent cover art for the soon to be released anthology that will include my short story, Wolf Bait. They plan to release the anthologies (of which there will be three) for free read and download in time for Thanksgiving. When the links become available, I will share them. Isn't the cover art amazing???

Thanks to everyone who voted for "Wolf Bait" in the All Romance Ebooks Just One Bite contest! I appreciate your support. If you didn't get a chance to read it while it was up on their site, --it's going to be released in three separate free anthologies published by ARE soon. I will post the info when it becomes available and am still honored to have my story side by side with so many other talented authors!

If you haven't had a chance to check out the contest, it's still going, and the remaining stories are accessible as free reads at the All Romance Ebooks website.

Again, I will share the anthology info as soon as it becomes available and thank you all so much for taking the time to support Wolf Bait and me!!!

Just One Bite...

Wolf Bait has made it to Round Two and is one of the top 16 finalists!!!!

To say I am excited is one of the biggest understatements I have ever made. I really want to shout a big thanks to everyone who voted in round one (and I hope stick around for round two...) because I never would have made it this far without ya.

To make it this far is a huge success and I am thrilled to spread the word. If you want to read Wolf Bait or vote, visit ARE, All Romance Ebooks Contest page here. They will ask you to register if you never have before they let you in, but registering is free.

Thanks again to all of you who voted. You guys ROCK!!!!

Naa Noo Naa Noo

Ah... Mork.

Well, not quite. NaNoNaNo.
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo which always makes me think of NaaNooNaaNoo... Mork?? Too old of a referance? Eh. Whippersnappers...) is almost upon us which means...

Yes. It means I will be writing a book in a month. Join me on this epic *cough* journey.

Okay, maybe not epic. Pathetic includes all the same letters as epic... did you ever notice this? I did. It was during a night of particularly evil writing blockage.

Which is probably how I will feel on the days that I don't hit goal. But I know I can hit my 50k and I hope you will follow me on my journey and maybe try it with me.
To quote the letter sent by NaNoWriMo...

The new site has launched in preparation for the festival of noveling about to be unleashed upon the world.

Come on over to NaNoWriMo.org today to check out the all-new resources awaiting you, including an amazing crew of pep talkers, bright and shiny web badges, NaNoVideos, sweet noveling goodies in the store, an updated homepage with even more fun information from NaNoland (including the expanded OLL blog!), and more forums than ever! And that’s just the beginning…

Also, if you know any kids or teens who love writing, be sure to send them over to NaNoWriMo's Young Writers Program!

So check it out and friend me if you are over there...
And I will be blogging and facebooking my experience. So you can watch me suffer and sweat firsthand...

Ah... first row seats to agony... what more can you ask for?
;)

Halloween Extravaganza!!!

As some of you may know, I spend a lot of time hanging out over at Coffee Time Romance. It is a fun little place where authors and readers meet and altogether a fantastic place to be for all who love books.

Well, they are doing a big focus on paranormal authors (my fave!) for October, the month when the Book Brew tends to be something wicked this way comes...

For those of you who don't know, Monday is our new and improved Book Brew with the Coffee Crew. We will be talking all books paranormal! We have some great guest authors coming, myself included. You can search and read interviews from such huge authors like P.C. Cast or Laurell K. Hamilton or learn something new about authors making their mark on the world of the dark and strange like me. If you want to stop by to comment about what you read for fun or see what the authors have to say, please feel free. Great prizes in store, including a giveaway of Odd Stuff, book one of my paranormal series, if you haven't already read it or if you want to gift it to someone who hasn't. Make sure to grab a pen and paper because there will always be books needed to add to your TBR pile!

So come check it out!!

You can see all the giveaways (and turn up your volume on the main page...lol) at www.coffeetimeromance.com

You can join in the fun at the Book Brew and the Paranormal Paradise (okay, I made that last bit up... lol) at http://coffeetimeromance.com/CoffeeThoughts/ and
http://www.coffeetimeromance.com/CTRNewsletter/index.html

See you there tomorrow!!
