I guess I am not going to die of malnutrition. I had to look up edamame (literally twig bean in Japanese) up, but it doesn't sound bad either. It would be better covered in chocolate :D Lol.

And thanks. They are great kids. I am a really lucky mom.virg_nelsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00965792839917010786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094973572627729105.post-83318805750914735722010-08-08T21:39:08.208-07:002010-08-08T21:39:08.208-07:00Awwww...that's sweet. :) Your kids sound like ...Awwww...that's sweet. :) Your kids sound like real winners.

I hate grocery shopping too. Although I love to stock up on the veggies. Mmm...edamame, chickpeas, and lentils! Yum! Yum! Veggies don't have to taste bland if you use the right cooking methods. Too often in American cooking, veggies are prepared and made into these inedible, tasteless concoctions. Try Indian cuisine or Lebanese cooking. Packs a punch in flavor and retains nutritional value.

As for "unconventional moms," I say we need more of them! I wish my mother was as quirky. :DVegetarian Cannibalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11925705619348289154noreply@blogger.com
